About Us

Indian Minorities Group Milen (IMGM) is a Brussels-based non-profit that connects people through culture, education and community support.

Our mission

We bring together the Indian Muslim community of Brussels and the wider public through cultural events, Islamic education, counselling and practical support. Our work is rooted in hospitality and service: from Eid celebrations and family gatherings to the Milen Madrasa and support for families in need.

Our history

IMGM was founded on 21 May 2019 and is registered as an ASBL / VZW under enterprise number BE 0726.973.923. Since then we have organised events, run a madrasa for children, collected and distributed Zakaat and Fitra, and built a network of members and volunteers across the region.

How we use our funds

Membership contributions are used for event costs, educational activities, family support and the running costs of the association. Our accounts are reviewed internally and are available to members on request.

Governance and volunteers

The association is governed by its board in accordance with its statutes. Board members and volunteers act on a voluntary basis. If you would like to volunteer, please contact us.
